A-level Math Tutoring in Radcliffe-on-Trent

Who

Welcome! My name is Paul.

I have taught A-level Maths and Further Maths for over 10 years at Bluecoat Sixth Form in Nottingham and continue to do so.
I have a maths degree from the University of Nottingham plus two years of postgraduate study plus a maths teacher PGCE.
I am an examiner for both EdExcel and AQA exam boards for GCSE maths, A-level Maths and A-level Further maths
As a currently employed teacher I obviously have the necessary DBS clearance etc.

In-person only

Face-to-face tutoring sessions in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottingham for A-level Maths and Further Maths (not GCSE).

I only offer in-person tutoring. In my professional opinion, it simply isn't effective enough to be worth doing. So much of good tutoring relies on reading a student's body language — a slight hesitation, a change of posture, a widening of the eyes — none of which translates reliably over a video call. I'd rather not offer a service I don't believe in, so I only take on students I can meet face-to-face.

This includes homework with full access to my revision tool with a parent view so the parent can see the amount of work done.
